FIU Bordeaux, San Sebastian & Rioja 2021

23-30 May, 2021

Gourmet Tour Brand

This tour for FIU is a very rare way to combine 2 of the greatest world wine regions (Bordeaux & Rioja) on one trip with Europe’s gastronomic capital in between. It also follows the route of the Bordelais when they looked for new vineyards when phylloxera hit in the 1860s, enabling some great storytelling en route of how the 2 regions are connected. Stellar wines too.

Jeremy Shaw

Jeremy couldn’t resist a spell in Spain in 1993 just before he started working as a lawyer in London. He had studied at the Sorbonne and then worked in the wine industry for Steven Spurrier in Paris but the sunny days in Salamanca in that first half of 1993 changed his life. As well as meeting wife Marisa, Jeremy developed a love for Spain and the Spanish that has permeated his life ever since.
