Top Staff Achievers Tour to Porto & the Douro Valley

This is an example of a 3 day/ 2 night trip to for a group of up to 25 people

Day 1
Meet group with private transfers from airport by VIP coach to central Porto hotel. Check into hotel with a couple of hours free to freshen up and take in the city atmosphere. Late afternoon departure for a top Port lodge for private tour and tasting in this historic location. Luxurious dinner including top regional wines on the terrace overlooking the river and city as the sun sets.

Day 2
Head inland to the Douro Valley, the world’s oldest demarcated wine region and Unesco World Heritage Site. The first stop is at a top quinta near Pinhao,  a fine place to appreciate the stunning scenery of the Douro. After a walk through the vineyards there is cocktails on the terrace, before a traditional regional lunch with fine wines.

Mid afternoon visit to one of the top producers in the country, for a private tour and tasting. This is one of the Douro’s top locations and a privileged visit. After check in to our nearby hotel there is a little free time before a traditional Rabelo boat ride at sunset down the Douro to dinner at the region’s best restaurant. Time to enjoy the best of modern style of Portuguese cuisine with different local wines to complement each course.

Day 3
After check out there is a morning private visit and tasting to one of the Douro’s most iconic brands. Their flagship quinta offers wonderful views to both sides of the valley. After a port and chocolate pairing it’s back to Porto airport for flights back home.
